  • Character Education Kick-Off 

    BalloonIn keeping with our Salt Brook tradition, on Friday October 8th, we unveiled our new NPSD 2021 - 2022 Character Education theme “RISE UP”  at a school-wide surprise assembly.  Please see Mrs. Drexinger's full letter with important information.

    On Fridays during morning announcements we will “RISE UP” and begin our day by sharing some “Good News”.  Your family can also submit their “Good News” on this Family/Student RISE UP submission form.  All “Good News” submitted will be either announced in the morning announcements or posted on our “RISE UP” hallway display.

  • Invent It Challenge

    Invent ItThe Invent It Challenge is an annual competition that inspires students around the world to unleash their inner inventor! Salt Brook STEM Teacher Mrs. Post organized an Invent It Challenge virtual club for interested students, and helped to guide them through the Smithsonian’s 7-step Spark!Lab Invention Process.   

    We are pleased to announce that three New Providence School District elementary students were winners in the Cricket Media Invent It Engineering Challenge! A Salt Brook School first grade student, Kabir Datey, won 1st place overall for his age group!   Third grader Adam Zambrano and 4th grader Reisa Mukerjee won honorable mentions! Each of the contestants designed a solution to make sports more fun, safe, or accessible!   • Kindergarten / New First Grade Registration

    registration The New Providence School District is accepting incoming kindergarten and first grade student registration for the 2021-2022 school year.  A child must be five years of age on or before October 1, 2021 to be eligible for enrollment into kindergarten.  A child must be six years of age on or before October 1, 2021 to be eligible for enrollment into first grade.

    The registration process will be completed exclusively online for the 2021-2022 school year.  A link to the student registration portal is located HERE.  Only a Custodial Parent/Legal Guardian can register a student.
