"Impact Teacher" Award

Congratulations to Michelle Testa for receiving a 2023/2024 "Impact Teacher" Award!  The "Impact Teacher" Program is designed to recognize teachers and staff who, through their actions, efforts, and accomplishments, have made a significant impact on the lives of our children.  Teachers or staff are nominated by the administration through a written Statement of Impact.  The award was bestowed at the Board of Education meeting on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

The maintenance, custodial and technology departments were recognized this week for their tireless contributions this summer in preparing for the opening of schools.  The maintenance department (pictured here) was recognized at the District office, while the custodial and technology staff were recognized at their individual schools.  Each employee received a pin with the message "You Go The Extra Distance for Children."

Teachers of the Year 2023

Congratulations to the NPSD recipients of the Union County Teacher Recognition Program Award - our Teachers of the Year!

 

All four teachers were honored at a Board of Education meeting, and joined their Union County colleagues for a special ceremony at Kean University in May.  Congratulations!
