New Providence School District's Music Education Program Receives National Recognition for the 12th Consecutive Year
New Providence School District has once again been named a "Best Community for Music Education" by the NAMM Foundation! 2024 is the 12th consecutive, and 13th overall, year being recognized for our excellent music opportunities for our students. Only five other districts in the state have received this award longer than New Providence, solidifying our district and our community as a consistent leader in music education in the state of New Jersey.

The New Providence Board of Education Regular Meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 7pm in the New Providence High/Middle School Media Center, has been canceled and rescheduled for Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at 7pm. Please see the official meeting change notice here.
The Consortium of Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Millburn, New Providence and Summit School District invite you to attend the next Parent Wellness Series event "Beyond Books: Helping Students Navigate College Expectations vs. Realities" on April 24th at 7:00pm at Millburn High School. The New Providence Board of Education will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 7pm in the HS/MS Media Center.
The meeting will also be livestreamed on the Board of Education YouTube channel.
The New Providence Board of Education will hold a series of Special Meetings for the purpose of a personnel matter in that the Board will interview candidates for the Superintendent of Schools position. The meetings will adjourn to Closed Session immediately. Meeting notices are posted here.
