    HYDROGEN-FUEL CELL MODEL CAR CHALLENGE
New Providence High School once again hosted the Hydrogen-Fuel Cell Model Car Challenge, a statewide science competition organized by TransOption. This contest requires that students design and build a model car from scratch, utilize a fuel cell to transform water into hydrogen and oxygen, and to then use this to power the car"s motor. Three teams proudly represented New Providence High School. As a result of their hard work and accomplishments, New Providence was awarded 1st and 2nd place in Engineering, 1st and 2nd place in Experimental Documentation, a 2nd place in craftsmanship, and 3rd place in speed.
