CONGRATULATIONS TO SALT BROOK ON BEING NAMED A NEW JERSEY STATE SCHOOL OF CHARACTERSalt Brook School was just selected as a 2011 New Jersey State School of Character by the New Jersey Alliance for Social, Emotional, and Character Development (NJASECD). This means that Salt Brook School has been identified and honored as a school that demonstrates outstanding character education initiatives that yield positive results in student behavior, citizenship, school climate, and academic performance.Ms. Jeannie Maier, Principal at Salt Brook school explained in a letter to all Salt Brook parents that,‘This award is a direct tribute to the climate that all constituents; staff, students, and parents have established over the years. It is though everyone"s daily interactions with the students and constant reinforcement of our annual theme that the students overwhelming feel that they are in a positive environment conducive to learning.
