• New kindergarten & first grade student registration for the 2020-2021 school year is now open!  A child must be five years of age on or before October 1, 2020, to be eligible for enrollment into kindergarten.  A child must be six years of age on or before October 1, 2020, to be eligible for enrollment into first grade. 

    Please click the link below to complete the pre-registration process online (mandatory) prior to attending our registration day on Tuesday February 25, 2020.

    New Providence School District Kindergarten & First Grade Registration Day

                WHO:             New kindergarten & first grade students. 

                PLACE:          Allen W. Roberts School & Salt Brook School.

                DATE:            Tuesday, February 25, 2020, (snow date February 27, 2020).

                TIME:             Last Names A-L:  1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

                                     Last Names M-Z:  2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

    The following documentation is required to complete the registration process at the at our registration day on February 25, 2020:

    1. Parent/guardian identification (valid driver’s license, passport or state ID).
    2. An original or certified copy of the student’s birth certificate.
    3. Immunization records and physical forms.
    4. Four (4) proofs of residency (property deed, purchase agreement, utility bills, lease agreement, benefit statement, other).
    5. Court stamped copy of custody documentation, if applicable.

    Please note:  Parents must complete the pre-registration process online prior to attending the registration day on February 25, 2020.  Only a custodial parent/legal guardian can register a student.  

    Attention parents of current pre-kindergarten students:  Current pre-kindergarten students eligible for enrollment into kindergarten are automatically registered for the 2020-2021 school year.  You do not have to pre-register online or attend the registration day event.  You will receive an email in August 2020, to update your child’s information as a returning student to the school district.
