    Community:  New Providence is a residential community of approximately 12,300 located in a suburban setting in northern New Jersey, 25 miles from New York City.  A significant number of the residents are associated with research centers in the area, while many commute daily to New York City.  New Providence proximity within the state affords its residents easy access to a wide variety of social,cultural and educational activities.
