Spanish (FLES: Foreign Language in Elementary School) class meets once per week. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. The best way to contact me is to send an email with a telephone number and a good time for me to call you.
ESL (English as a second language) class meets for Grades K-2 meets the last period of the day, for 40 minutes.
Each students needs a pocket folder and pencil. Being prepared for class means 1) having your materials ready 2) using good listening and paying attention skills (by using ears, eyes and brains!) and 3) being willing to engage in the Spanish language to the best of your ability by speaking, singing, repeating and responding in Spanish.
Did you know???? People acquire language by hearing and reading messages that they understand. Studying Spanish vocabulary (by using electronic resources or homemade flashcards) will expand your ability to comprehend what you hear and read!
