    Nov. 15 & 16, 2019

clue logo  It's a dark and stormy night, and you've been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Each of the guests has an alias, the butler offers a variety of weapons, and the host is, well . . . dead. So whodunnit? Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Based on the cult classic film and the popular board game, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.

    March 13 & 14, 2020

little shop logo    From the musical geniuses Howard Ashman and Alan Menken comes this deviously delicious tale of mild-mannered floral Seymour Krelborn and his newly discovered plant, named "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Audition info, dates, and production calendars will be posted soon.

    Mission Statement

New Providence schools are known not only for the outstanding education students receive, but also for extra-curricular activities that guide students in developing skills outside the classroom.  Using this model, the NPHS Drama Dept. seeks to meet the following goals:

    • Provide students with opportunities for performance and technical theatre that challenge and extend their creativity.

    • Make connections between theatre, other classroom content areas, and life experiences.

    • Encourage a lifelong appreciation for theatre arts.
