2026-2027 New Student Registration

The New Providence School District is now accepting registrations for all new students for the 2026–2027 school year. Registration will be completed exclusively online.

The registration process consists of two steps:

  1. Complete the online pre-registration form.
  2. After your pre-registration has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an automated email with instructions for completing the remaining registration forms.

The email will prompt you to create a username and password for the PowerSchool Registration Portal. Please note: this username and password are different from the Access ID and Access Password included in the email.

If you already have a child enrolled in the New Providence School District and have an existing PowerSchool account, do not create a new account. Instead, log in to your existing account, select Account Preferences, and add your new student. You will need the Access ID and Access Password provided in the automated email after your pre-registration has been approved.

To complete your student's registration, you will be required to upload the following documents:

  • Parent/Guardian identification (valid driver's license, passport, or state-issued ID). Please upload this document under Tab 2: New Student Address.
  • An original or certified copy of the student's birth certificate.
  • Four (4) proofs of residency (such as a property deed, purchase agreement, utility bill, lease agreement, or benefits statement).
  • Current immunization records and health physical forms.
  • A completed Request for Student Records form. Please download the form, complete it, and upload it as part of the registration process.
  • If applicable, a court-stamped copy of custody documentation.

When uploading documents for the first time, PowerSchool will prompt you to sign in. Click the green Sign In button. On the next screen, select the blue Register button to create your document upload account using the Access ID and Access Password provided in your automated email.

Please note: Only a custodial parent or legal guardian may register a student.
