                          Welcome to Sculpture
Lets look forward to a fun and creative school year!

Sculpture I is a semester long course during which students design and create three-dimensional works of art through the safe use of various materials and tools. Students will receive studio instruction in the following media: clay, plaster and wood. In addition, students will study the life and work of master artists and major artistic styles and periods in the history of art. Art criticism and aesthetics are integral to this course. Field trips to major area museums will be offered. This course is highly recommended for those students who intend to enroll later in the Advanced Placement or Honors Art Program.
