A private school for young girls is scandalized when a spiteful student turns against her teachers, spreading lies and rumors with tragic consequences. The Children's Hour by Lillian Hellman was a controversial piece when it premiered in the 1930's and all these years later, it remains a haunting reminder of the horrors of intolerance.
March 8th & 9thEver inspiring and feeling even more timely now then when it was written, the female driven double murderess song and dancer is a romp through the corrupt prison and court systems of the 1920s.Chicago, winner of 6 Tony awards and one of the longest-running Broadway musicals of all time, feels as upbeat, smart and on point today as when it was written in 1975. Intelligent, witty and connivingly devilish with classic songs about press manipulation, betrayal and selfishness, Chicago could feel equally at home on either the Broadway stage or the White House lawn.
