• To start the school year all 7th grade students were given an orientation on the expectations for physical education classes and the proper procedures when using the locker rooms. The first week of activities involved stations and drills to improve overall body strength, cardiovascular endurance, and agility.  The 7th graders are now involved in an ultimate frisbee unit developing eye hand coordination as well as improving cardio vascular endurance.  Students practiced different types of throws and will soon be participating in team games.  All classes begin with a physical warm-up involving push-ups, crunches, and planks followed by either a 400 or 800 meter run.
