    We sang a Song from Nigeria called 
    Eh Soom Boo Kawaya which means "the clouds are gathering, paddle faster!"

    To Honor Black History Month we learned a lot about the Underground Railroad. We sang the song "Follow the Drinking Gourd" which secretly told slaves how to escape to freedom in Canada. Some activities included reading a book, looking at items made from gourds and
    watching a video.
