Cornell Fashion Design AwardA design student in Lynn Celler"s Fabric Arts Class, was recently awarded a Silver Honorable Mention Award in the prestigious 2011 Cornell Fashion Design Award for High School Students. This competition is hosted by The Department of Fiber Science & Apparel Design (FSAD) in the College of Human Ecology at Cornell University and annually attracts over 250 entries from a whole variety of schools nationwide.The competition this year was very fierce. "We were amazed by the imagination, the creativity and the skill that we saw in the entries overall, and deciding on just a few winners was a very difficult task", said Susan Ashdown, Cornell University"s Professor in Fiber Science & Apparel Design. Congratulations to all that were involved.
