Allen W. Roberts School offers a supportive, yet challenging, child-centered learning environment where the faculty and staff combine their efforts to make each day unique and rewarding for students. Through a collaborative effort, parents, teachers, and administrators work together, providing the students of Allen W. Roberts the skills necessary to be responsible citizens in the dynamic global society of the 21st century.
Our professional staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of all children and participates in staff development projects throughout the year. At Allen W. Roberts, we value time for articulation which allows our staff opportunities to share their knowledge and experiences as well as learn from each other. We strive for an atmosphere where our students, staff, and parents feel proud and committed to supporting each other.
Our PTA provides invaluable support to our school in many ways. Parents volunteer their time in classrooms, support extra curricular programs, and numerous after school activities. Our PTA has raised a considerable amount of money to purchase technology and equipment, and support programs such as assemblies and author visits.
In addition to academics, an integral component of Allen W. Roberts is a Character Education program that allows students to recognize they can make a difference. Community service projects are evident among individual students, classes, grade levels, and the entire school community.
An ancient proverb once stated “If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.” At Allen W. Roberts, we focus on a lifetime of success for our students.
