Welcome to 8th Grade Physical Education
Throughout the school year the students will be participating in fitness activities that will help develop the components of physical fitness. Those components are: cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility and agility.
Marking Period 1
The first unit will Flag Football.
The students will learn a wide variety of skills through individual, small and large group activities. Some of the skills will be passing, catching and understanding the rules of play. The students will also learn about some of the strategies of the game and how to be safe playing flag football.
