• Give Thanks

Give Thanks was the theme of the second annual LLD3/LLD4/LLD5 Thanksgiving feast held on November 22nd. Each class prepared a course for the meal. The LLD3 prepared the salad and vegetable appetizer, the LLD4 prepared the ziti and pizza bagels, and the LLD5 prepared the hot apple cider, cookies, and carrot cake for dessert. This feast gave the opportunity for these students to work on various life skills such as cooking, writing, and most of all interacting in conversations with various students and staff members. It is a tremendous amount of work for Jessica Beltz, Marla Malinauskas, and Cherilyn Martenz to put this event together but knowing how much these students benefit from being proud of their work and helping them work on achieving these life skills is their main focus.
