• NPMS Band has a Spectacular Season
     
    Band 1The Pride and Class of New Providence Marching Band experienced a spectacular season

     

    In the United States Scholastic Band Association New Jersey State Championships at Union High School, the band placed first in Group 6A with a score of 96.6.  This is the highest score earned by the band in its history and with it, the band received awards for Best Color Guard, Best Visual Performance and Best Overall Effect.  This marks the 7th State Championship for the band in the last 10 years. 

     
     
     
     
    band 2The long season culminated in a win at the USSBA National Championships in Allentown, PA. Along with the championship title, the band won awards for Best Music, Best Visual, and Best Percussion. Subsequently the band was invited to perform the half-time show at MetLife Stadium for a Giants-Redskins game. The band is directed by Mr. Michael Niedziejko and assisted by Mr. Don Baker
