The Basic Skills/Lab program is a supplemental program offered to students in need of additional support in Math or Language Arts. The academic progress of each student is monitored every marking period each year as to whether Basic Skills instruction should be offered for the following year. Eligibility for the Basic Skills/Lab Program is determined by student performance on the state standardized achievement tests, classroom academic progress, previous enrollment in Basic Skills, and additional assessment measures.
