Mission Statement:

The purpose of student council is to represent the interests of our school by giving the students a voice to: 

• Shape the positive culture and climate of NPMS
• Encourage spirit among students, faculty/staff, administration, and the larger community
• Develop and demonstrate qualities of leadership

• Friendsgiving Celebration for Members (November 2022)
• Toys collected for Toys for Tots (December 2022)
• Over 200 Candy Cane Grams sold and delivered (December 2022)
• Festive Holiday Sweater Spirit Day! (December 2022)
• Superbowl Spirit Day! (February 2023)
• Candy Gram Lolipop Sale (February 2023)
• Cookies and Cocoa collected 100 items to donate to a food pantry (March 2021)
• Spring Spirit Week (June 2021)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS:

All members of the student body are encouraged to participate in student council.  General members are not elected.

• Represent the student body through communicating their ideas and suggestions 
• Identify and help solve issues encountered by students in the school 
• Plan and participate in events and activities
• Attend meetings regularly 
• Keep students informed of events, fundraisers, and service projects
