On Tuesday, October 3rd, the New Providence School District kicked off this year's Character Education theme: "Be Today's Hero!" Middle Schoolers participated in a Week of Respect. Student's and staff wore blue t-shirts to support National Anti-Bullying Day. Middle Schoolers watched, "Who Is Your Hero?", a video prepared by ninth-grade students who discussed their heroes and how they were kind and helpful to them.
At the end of the Week of Respect, students took part in a Lip-Sync Contest. Teams performed songs and danced to themes related to respect. The entire Student Body and Faculty enjoyed the show, which capped off this year's theme of "Be Today's Hero."
